Centrifugal Separators
The Electric H2O Centrifugal Separator uses centrifugal force to separate suspended particles from the water. Concentrated particles are forced along the separator wall, traveling downward to the collection chamber, while the clean fluid is forced to change direction by the redirection plate. The vortex breaker allows the particles to settle in the collection chamber. Particles concentrated in the collection chamber are periodically purged or continuously bled from the separator as required by each application. Our Separator will remove 98% of particles greater than 40 microns and with a specific gravity of 1.8 or greater.
Construction and Materials EH2O Separators are constructed to exacting standards using carbon steel or stainless steel. Exterior surfaces are coated with epoxy, then cured for durability and corrosion resistance. EH2O Separators are rated for 150 psi at 300 F. (Higher psi optional)
Filtration Performance Particle removal depends of the specific gravity of the solids in the fluid. Our Separator will remove 98% of particles greater than 40 micron and with a specific gravity of 1.8 or greater.
Simple Operation The EH2O-S Separator has no moving parts. It does not require any media, filter bags or cartridges that can increase operating and maintenance expenses.
Ease of Installation The EH2O-S is easily installed in either inline or side-stream applications. Unlike other filters, this Separator produces no flow restriction (pressure drop of 3-12 psi), enabling it to be installed into any existing system without the need for additional pumps and reservoirs.
